Who’s your Daddy??

I’m your Daddy! Oh yeah, I’m your BAGH-DADDY TOO!

Haha, I fixed the problem with the pages. Just needed to change the CHMOD setting for some files. And I didn’t even read the fucking manual. Who’s awesome? I am.

One might ask “Why is she in such a good mood, eh?” and to that I answer “BECAUSE I JUST GOT THESE SUPER-DUPER COOL SPEAKERS SETS.” Yes, and now I can “Play it fucking loud.” [video - go read about it.]

Other than that, not much to say. Yesterday, I coded a basic ‘down for revamp’ page and realised how much I’d forgotten, but in time everything will come back to me. I need to brush up my CSS & HTML. I’m not shitfaced (I just added that word to the dictionary) enough to bother trying to code XHTML. It’s not a necessary thing, ergo I’d rather not waste my time on it. Another thing, in regards to coding, that bothers me - when people put the ‘Valid CSS’/'Valid HTML’ on the sidebar or at the bottom of the page or SOMEWHERE visible. I admit, that once I used to do that - until I came to my senses! What do you benefit out of broadcasting to everyone that your code is validated? It’s kind of pointless and no one’s ever interested to click it and see how “valid” your coding is. So why put it there? It’s not a trophy to display! And barely does anyone pay attention to it. I’m not saying not to validate your code (please do, it’s benefits your viewers & yourself) but don’t waste your time putting up buttons/hyper links to the validation page.

And now, I’m gonna stop ranting and listen to The Rolling Stones rock my world!

EDIT: I added new photos to Flickr, go check ‘em out! (: *points to widget at bottom of page*

Hehe, I love the theme. Just remember to CHMOD back to 755 and 644 after you’re done. Never, never ever leave any files at 666 or folders at 777, otherwise the script kiddies don’t even need to make any effort. Better yet, download the files to your computer, edit them there, then re-upload. No CHMOD required. :)

As for the validation link, unless the page doesn’t even validate, it is kind of a trophy to show that you made an effort. It’s more the “do not click” admin, email links that annoy me. :P
